Last updated: January 2026. These terms apply to the Alberta World Cup 50/50 raffle operated by the Alberta World Cup Cross Country Society under Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC) licence.
This raffle is operated by the Alberta World Cup Cross Country Society, 100-1995 Olympic Way, Canmore, Alberta T1W 2T6, under a Raffle Licence issued by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis Commission (AGLC). The licence number, term, ticket pricing, prize structure and draw date for the current raffle are shown on this website and on the physical raffle licence, and govern the raffle in the event of any conflict with this page.
Tickets are sold in the packages and at the prices displayed on our Online Raffle page for the current licence term. All sales are processed through an AGLC-approved electronic raffle system. Ticket sales close at the date and time published for the current draw, or once the maximum number of tickets authorized under the licence has been sold, whichever occurs first.
This is a 50/50 raffle. The prize is 50% of gross ticket sales for the licence period, paid to the holder of the single ticket drawn at random. The remaining proceeds, less approved expenses, are used by the Society in accordance with the Use of Proceeds statement on its raffle licence.
The draw is held at the date, time and location published for the current raffle. The draw is conducted at random from all valid, paid entries and is overseen by the Society's Raffle Chairperson in accordance with AGLC raffle terms and conditions.
The winner is notified using the contact details provided at the time of purchase. Winning ticket numbers are posted on our Our Winners page. Prizes must be claimed within the timeframe set out in the current raffle rules; unclaimed prizes are handled in accordance with AGLC policy.
All ticket sales are final. Raffle tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased, except where required by law or where a raffle is cancelled by the Licensee or AGLC.
Please play responsibly. If you or someone you know is affected by problem gambling, support is available through Alberta Health Services at 1-800-665-2085, free of charge and confidential.
