A registered non-profit built by the Nordic ski community, for the Nordic ski community.
The Alberta World Cup Cross Country Society is an Alberta-based non-profit society headquartered in Canmore. We exist to build the athlete pipeline that carries Alberta skiers from local trails to the World Cup start line, through coaching, training infrastructure and race opportunity.
We operate the Alberta World Cup Academy, a National Development Training Centre with bases in Canmore and Calgary, coaching high performance athletes and supporting a dedicated 18–21 year old Train + Study cohort.
Our licensed 50/50 raffle is one of the ways the Society raises the funds that keep coaching, travel and training accessible — while giving our community a direct chance to win.
